DAY 01: HUARAZ – CHIQUIAN – LLAMAC - POCPA - CUARTELHUAIN 3,100 - 3,600 - 4,180 MT)
We will start the trip at 5:00am. Approximately to the south side for Huaraz. Passing for the different district like; Recuay, Ticapampa, Catac and Conococha at 4100m. Then will travel to the east side and south East to Chiquian at 3400m. Where you can to buy something, the travel take 2 hours then we have to down for about 1 hour and the go up until passing Llamac and finally Pocpa village where we will start to walk and meet our local coworkers we will go up from 3,600 mt. till 4,, 180 for about 4 – 5 hours to the camp side Cuartelhuain, along this route we will passing the small Pallca mine, arriving to the camp side around 4:30pm approximately. From here we will see the Ninashanca Mountain in the south side. Overnight camping at 4,180mt. (04 - 05 hours walking)(04 hours driving)
DAY 2: CUARTELHUAIN - CACANAN PUNTA - MITUCOCHA (4,180 - 4,700 - 4,230 MT)
After our breakfast we will start walking up toward Cacananpunta pass at 4700 m, when we just reach it we will be on the continental divide, as well as we will enjoy taken amazing pictures about deep valleys, hills and snowcapped peaks. Then we will descend to our next camp at Jancapampa with amazing view of mount Jirishanca and mount Ninashanca to background. Overnight camp at Mitucocha. (05 - 06 hours walking)
DAY 03: MITUCOCHA - PUNTA CARHUAC - CARHUACOCHA (4,230 - 4,650 - 4,140 MT)
Today trek is on easy terrain until reach Punta Carhuac pass at (4650m), from this pass we will be able to have breath- taking views of the highest peaks of Huayhuash such as: Yerupaja (6617m) and the famous Siula Grande (6344m), Hirishanca, after that we will start walking down until lake Carhuacocha, which is truly gorgeously place, scenic campsite with astonishing mountain view to the back ground. Overnight camp at Lake Carhuacocha (05 - 06 hours walking)
DAY 4: CARHUACOCHA - SIULA PASS - HUAYHUASH CAMP (4,140 - 4,830 - 4,350 MT)
As every day after breakfast we will start hiking and this day is one of the best in the Huayhuash Circuit because will enjoy the spectacular sunrise, water lake is reflecting the mountain image after we will keep walking up toward Siula view point from where we will enjoy the most fabulous breath taking views behind of three glacier lakes as Siula, Quesilococha, Cangracocha then we will keep walking up hill till the pass Siula. Again the post cards pictures views and the other cordillera Raura amazing place to stay forever enjoying the view and finally downhill passing the lake Carnicero until Huayhuash camping at 4330 m. (06 - 07 hours walking)
DAY 05: HUAYHUASH - PORTACHUELO PASS - VICONGA CAMP (4,350 - 4,750 - 4,360 MT)
We start walking up toward spectacular pass of Portachuelo de Huayhuash, we will see on the way mount Puscanturpa and mount Trapecio, over the pass we will enjoy the view of the Cordillera Raura, and then we will descend towards the largest Lake Viconga until Vigonca camp site. In the afternoon we will be able to enjoy taking shower and swimming in hot spring close our camp site. (04 - 05 hours walking)
DAY 06: VICONGA - CUYOC PASS - SAN ANTONIO - HUANACPATAY (4,360 - 5,000 - 4,200 MT)
This day we will hike the second highest pass on our trek, after few days trekking above 4000 m, your body is now well acclimatized to cross the Punta Cuyoc pass, from the pass we will have the most impressive mountain views, and then we will continue descending on the steep segment until flat bottom grass valley, then we will climb up to san Antonio view point at 5020 m, from it we will have splendid view about summits, glacier lakes and deep valley, finally we come back on the same path until campo Elefante and Huanacpaty camp site at 4200m. Overnight camp at Huanacpatay. (07 - 08 hours walking)
DAY 7: HUANACPATAY - HUAYLLAPA - 4,200 - 3,600 mt)
After breakfast we will start walk down along Huanacpatay valley until isolated Huayllapa village, where if you want you can buy some basic staff as drinking, batteries, toilet paper etc. from this village we will walk up on by far narrow valley until reach grass valley of Hepatica, where is located our camping spot.(06 - 07 hours walking)
DAY 8: HUAYLLAPA - TAPUSH PASS – GASPA PAMPA (4,300 - 4,750 - 4,450 mt)
This day after breakfast we start walking up from Huatiac, toward Tapush pass, enjoying on the way Mountain View as: mount Diablo Mudo, Lake Susucocha after days view of the cordillera Blanca small mountains, while descending to our camp site, which is lies close Quenual forest with air smelling almost home. (04 - 05 hours walking)
DAY 09: GASPA PAMPA - YAUCHA PASS - JAHUACOCHA (4,450 - 4,830 - 4,050 mt)
this is and other beautiful day considerate one of the best views in the trek, After breakfast we will start walking up toward Punta Yaucha pass, from the pass we will enjoy the most spectacular mountain views such as: the majestic mount Yerupaja, and even condor if we are lucky, then we will continue walking down enjoying the spectacular view of Lake Jahuacocha and jirishanca mount until Jahuacocha campsite. We will get at the camp around noon and enjoy the full afternoon of the views and short hikes around the Lake Jahuacocha (05 - 06 hours walking)
DAY 10: JAHUACOCHA - PAMPA LLAMAC - LLAMAC HHUARAZ (4,050 - 3,300 - 3,100 mt)
Our last day we will start walking toward Pampa Llamac pass at 4300 m, where we will rest for taking last pictures, and take a short break before start descending on slope trail until Llamac Village, where our private transport is waiting us to drive Huaraz.(04 - 05 hours walking)( 04 hours driving)
