Urus - Ishinca - Tocllaraju

Day 1: huaraz at (3100m) – pashpa village at (3600m) – ishinca base camp at (4350m). (driving time: 2 hours / walk time: 4 hours (walk up).
Departure from huaraz at 8:00 am toward north sid4 of callejon de huaylas until paltay town, from this place we will turn to the east until pashpa village at 3600m on dirt road, where we will meet with our donkey driver, who is going to load our climbing gear until base camp at 4350m, where is located our camping spot. Overnight camp at ishinca base camp.
Day 2: ishinca base camp at (4350m) – urus summit at (5495m) – ishinca base camp at (4350m). (climbing time: 8 hours (ascent & descent).
Summit day we will prepare our climbing gears and tools very early at 2:00 am, after that we will have breakfast then we will begin walking up toward urus at 5495m, we walk up on switchbacks until reach moraine about 3 hours, we will climb up around 2 hours from the glacier edge until the summit with glacier and slab rock section, from the summit we will enjoy splendid mountain view, we will see more than 10 summits over 6 thousand meters around us such as: ranrapalca at 6112m, tocllaraju at 6040m, copa at 6188m, hualcan mountains including huascaran mountain at 6768m, then we will descent on the same route up until base camp overnight camp at ishinca base camp.
Day 3:_ ishinca base camp at (4350m) – ishinca summit at (5530m) – ishinca base camp at (4350m) climbing time: 10 hours (ascent & descent)
Summit day we will prepare our climbing gears and tools very early at 2:00 am, after that we will have breakfast then we will begin walking up toward mount ishinca at 5530m, we walk up on switchbacks until reach moraine about 3 hours, we will climb up around 2 hours from the glacier edge until the summit, from the summit we will enjoy spectacular sunrise and splendid mountain view, we will see more than 10 summits over 6 thousand meters around us including mount ranrapalca, then we will descent on the same route up until base camp. Overnight camp at ishinca base camp.
Day 4: rest day at ishinca base camp at (4350m).
This day we will spend all day at the base camp resting and recovering energy after two days climbing, to attempt to tocllaraju our mean goal peak, which is the most exciting and difficult of this expeditions. Overnight camp at ishinca base camp.
Day 5: ishinca base camp at (4350m) – tocllaraju moraine camp at (4900m). (climbing time: 4 hours (climb up)
This day after our breakfast we will prepare all the necessary climb gear, then we will walk up 4 hours until reach our next camp site at moraine. Getting early we will check and organize again our gear for the next early morning in the afternoon we will enjoy amazing sunset. Overnight camp at moraine camp.
Day 6: tocllaraju moraine camp at (4900m) – tocllaraju summit at (6034m). (ishinca base camp at (430m). (climbing time: 14 hours (ascent & descent).
This day very early at 12:00 am we will have breakfast, then we will start climbing up toward the summit, the first hours we will find some step parts not over 40° grades only at the last 30 minutes before the top there 2 pieces of 65° grades 50 meters each. After 6 hours ascending we will reach the summit of mount tocllaraju at 6034m, on the top we will enjoy amazing sunrise and astonishing mountain view as: palcaraju, ranrapalca, ocshapalca, akilpo mountains and other peaks, then we descent on the same ascent route until moraine, where our team will be waiting with a lunch, then we will just packed our camp and climbing equipment and finally we will descent until base camp. Last night camp at ishinca base camp.
Day 7: ishinca base camp at (4350m) – pashpa village at (3600m) – huaraz.
(driving time: 2 hours / walk time: 4 hours (walk down).
After our breakfast we will pick up our climbing gear, after that we will walk down along ishinca valley until cochapampa, the same trail we walk by the first day where our private transport be waiting us to back huaraz after getting to Huaraz we will meet at the early evening for our celebration at our family house where is the end of our expedition.
